Insurance and payment

Optum and UnitedHealthcare may be accepted depending on plan eligibility and current network status. Benefits are not guaranteed until verified. For other plans, a superbill may be available for clients who wish to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by the insurance plan and is not guaranteed.

Clients remain responsible for fees not paid by insurance, including deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, noncovered services, and services denied by the plan. Payment arrangements and applicable fees should be reviewed before treatment begins.

Clinical cancellation policy

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments without notice, are charged 100% of the scheduled fee. These charges are nonrefundable.

Because an appointment time is reserved specifically for a client or family, late-cancellation and no-show charges generally cannot be billed to insurance.

Workshop and training cancellation policy

Workshop or training cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, and participant no-shows, are nonrefundable.

For changes requested at least 48 hours in advance, contact the practice to discuss the options available for that specific event or registration. No alternative arrangement is guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Telehealth and location

In-person services are available at 250 East Horizon Drive, Suite 120, Henderson, Nevada 89015. Virtual therapy is available only while the client is physically located in a jurisdiction where Braxton is authorized to practice—currently Nevada and Utah. Clients should disclose their physical location at each telehealth session.

Age and service fit

Clinical work generally serves children and teens age 10 and older, parents, caregivers, couples in their parenting roles, and families. A consultation is used to determine whether the requested service and level of care are appropriate.

Emergencies

This practice is not an emergency service, and ordinary email, voicemail, and website requests are not continuously monitored. If there is immediate danger, call 911. For crisis support in the United States, call or text 988.
