Meet Braxton Storm, MSW, LCSW
Your family does not need more blame. It needs a path back to connection.
When conflict, shutdown, anxiety, or painful patterns begin defining family life, it can be difficult to see what will actually help. Braxton helps parents, children, and teens understand what is happening beneath the behavior, rebuild emotional safety, and practice healthier ways of relating.

When family life feels stuck
The problem is rarely a lack of love.
Most families are trying hard. But stress, fear, old wounds, and repeated misunderstandings can make connection harder to reach. Therapy creates space to slow the pattern down and respond differently.
The same conflict keeps returning
Conversations escalate, someone shuts down, and everyone leaves feeling unheard—even when the original issue seemed small.
Your child or teen is struggling
Anxiety, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, trauma, or behavior concerns are affecting the child and the relationships around them.
You want to parent differently
You want to be calm, consistent, and connected, but familiar reactions take over during the moments that matter most.
Why Braxton works with the whole relationship
A gap changed how he practices therapy.
Braxton began his career working with children in foster care and their parents. He saw children receive individual treatment while the parents and relationships shaping their daily lives often remained outside the process.
That experience led him to study attachment theory extensively and build an integrative model that includes parents and children in treatment when appropriate. Instead of asking only how to stop a behavior, the work looks at the unmet need, fear, disconnection, or recurring pattern beneath it.
When parents gain insight, support, and practical tools, meaningful change becomes possible for the entire family.
A practical, attachment-focused approach
Therapy should help your family relate differently—not simply understand the problem.
Insight matters, but families also need a clear way to use that insight at home. Braxton combines emotional understanding with practical steps parents and children can practice between sessions.
See beneath the behavior

Support the parent first
